Squash Off

The University Center held it's first squash off cooking competition.
Sponsored by Students for real food, the group set out to encourage the use of local foods on the university campus.
Reporter Alison Scheel and photographer Charles Thomas discovered what was cookin' and serves up the story.

PEAS Farm

One university program is offering students a fresh way to earn credits, and give back to the region. Twice a week, students work from morning to night harvesting produce at the Program in Ecological Agriculture and Society or PEAS Farm. UM News reporter Holly Baker and photographer Caitlin Mallory caught up with students at the farm.

PEAS Farm

Some University of Montana students are getting their hands dirty to help people they've never met. They're working on a farm sponsored by the Program in Ecological Agriculture and Society.
The PEAS farm provides fresh produce to the Missoula Food Bank.
