Homecoming Hustle

The UM Cross Country Team is the only UM team that has to fundraise to afford basic equipment like shoes and uniforms. They decided to raise funds by having the first ever five-kilometer Homecoming Hustle. Reporter Lindsay Alvestad and photographer Marianne McCormack met up with the team.

PEAS Farm

One university program is offering students a fresh way to earn credits, and give back to the region. Twice a week, students work from morning to night harvesting produce at the Program in Ecological Agriculture and Society or PEAS Farm.
