Guide Dogs on Campus

U-M Students struggle everyday to keep up with their college classes and earn good grades. But Reporter Laura Wilson and Photographer Paige Browning found one student who calls upon a little extra help in the classroom.

GED to the COT

The University of Montana's College of Technology has experienced a increase of GED applicants. Reporter Laura Wilson and Photographer Jon Denny looked into the story and found one (future) student who left high school early to enroll in college.

UM Marching Band

For the University of Montana marching band, every week presents a tiring schedule, and new challenges. Band members Cori Smith and Roy Mckenney share a passion for performance that has made the two of them grow closer. Griz Bye-Week

Some "hardcore" Griz fans took advantage of the bye-week to take the field with some of their favorite players. Special Olympians were treated to football drills courtesy of Grizzly Athletics.





While most fans took advantage of the bye-week for a day of rest, Griz players Tyler Palmer and Andrew Glueckert hit the fields to give back to the fans.

The Griz football team had a bye game last weekend, but that didn't stop players from heading over to Washington-Grizzly Stadium last Saturday. UM News Reporter Laura Wilson and photographer Jon Denny found out how two Griz players spent their weekend off.

UM FLAT

More and more people are learning how to live sustainably--such as conserving resources, finding alternative energy outlets, and recycling. UM News reporter Laura Wilson and photographer Sarah Grant found one group of students who are demonstrating how to follow an eco-friendly lifestyle in a home called the UM FLAT.
