Griz Football star playing a game unlike others

The Grizzly football team spends a lot of time practicing on the field in preparation for game day. But UM News reporter Lindsey Scheetz and photographer Sarah Grant discovered that for one player, playing the game has a whole new meaning when he's off of the football field.

Reynolds and his wife are welcoming a new addition to their family. They are expecting their second child, a daughter, this April.

Students willing to be put on a waiting list

Sometimes enrolling for classes at the University of Montana isn't always as simple as signing up. Some courses require an override slip, some require prerequisites. But there is one class that requires time. Reporter Lindsey Sheetz and photographer Sarah Grant discovered why UM students are willing to wait for an American Sign Language class.

Hunters for Hunger

Every year big game hunters across the state prepare for the general hunting season which begins October 25th. UM News photographer Mark Wilson and reporter Lindsey Scheetz caught up with one local hunter who plans to help others through his kills.

Reporter Lindsey Scheetz and photographer Paige Browning met mushroom farmers in Western Montana. Garden City Fungi is one of over 50 farm involved in the Farm-to-College Program.

Alcohol Poisoning

Nearly 1600 students die an alcohol related death every year nationwide. Among those, alcohol poisoning is the most common. UM News reporter Lindsey Scheetz and Whitney Caldarone found one UM student that was lucky enough to survive.
