The University Center held it's first squash off cooking competition. Sponsored by Students for real food, the group set out to encourage the use of local foods on the university campus. Reporter Alison Scheel and photographer Charles Thomas discovered what was cookin' and serves up the story.
Today is a special day to be remember and be recongize the men and women who fought for our country. Veterans day is the holiday that once a year allows Amercians to show there appreciation for these soldiers. The ROTC Programs at the University of Montana is home to veterans of all wars.
