Some "hardcore" Griz fans took advantage of the bye-week to take the field with some of their favorite players. Special Olympians were treated to football drills courtesy of Grizzly Athletics.While most fans took advantage of the bye-week for a day of rest, Griz players Tyler Palmer and Andrew Glueckert hit the fields to give back to the fans.

The Griz football team had a bye game last weekend, but that didn't stop players from heading over to Washington-Grizzly Stadium last Saturday. UM News Reporter Laura Wilson and photographer Jon Denny found out how two Griz players spent their weekend off.
